He ran the Michelinstarred restaurant Paustian until last year, and withdrew for a while. Now the very artistic, super talented chef is back with a more accesible, relaxed restaurant where the ambiance is loose but the food sharp as ever.
The restaurant is called Geist, and it is full of it. Choose between comfort food like grilled meat and avocado with caviar or more challenging fare like langoustine with duck wings and cocoa, lamb with licorice and horseradish.
Great setting with open kitchen, regular tables or seats at the bar looking out on the street or into the kitchen.
Quite modest prices and a very decent wine list.
Location is great, smack in the middle of Copenhagen vis a vis Nyhavn.
