Magnificent nordic gourmet cuisine in Århus: Malling & Schmidt

Copenhagen has Noma and The provinces has Malling & Schmidt, situated in Århus, a 25 minutes flight or 4 hours train ride from Copenhagen.

Chef Thorsten Schmidt and his wife, restaurant manager Rikke Malling, has just moved to a marvellous new place, just outside of Århus.

Here you can experience a very personal take on the new nordic cuisine, in beautiful and friendly surroundings. Deliciousness has a high priority and the attention to detail is outstanding. Produce is sourced from the near surroundings and is of a quality mathing the rest of the show.
