For a number of years we, at newspaper Børsen, have been staging a competition for the ambitious young cooks apprentices who may well be the stars of tomorrow.
Via a nationwide row of 5 semifinals 25 handpicked talents are competing for a spot in the finale where the 5 semifinalwinners will compete.
The finale takes place on the large open air scene in Tivoli Gardens and the judges are experienced competition chefs, who back this event to help propel the young talents along to a career in competiton cooking.

The first round was the Copenhagen regional competition, it took place at Michelinstarred restaurant AOC end the winner was Lars Brian Larsen, apprentice to Rasmus Kofoed, the Bocuse d’Or master from restaurant Geranium.
