45 minutes from Århus – Denmarks second largest city and a cozy town with many good restaurants – you will find the old inn Molskroen, a luxurious hotel with a restaurant that is worth a journey.
It is run by Wassim Hallal (who also runs Fredrikshøj restaurant in Århus), who is known for being a very ambitious and talented gourmet chef. His style is is a perfectionist and geared towards luxuriousness.
This slideshow shows a dinner I had in march, when I reviewed the restaurant to 6 out of 6 in every categori except interior, because I felt the traffic in the dining room disturbing. But that is not a problem, if you ask for the right tables.
