Geranium souschef Adrien Norwood has gone astray, and is now heading the kitchen at M/S Amerika restaurant. The name means Motor ship America, inspired by the fact that the steamboats sailing US/Europe used to dock here, in the old days. The restaurant is situated in an old warehouse, well established since many years and rooted in the mid segment, but Norwood is likely to change that.
The menu consists of US inspired dishes, in a refined way. Not burgers and fries, but tuna martini style and inspired and fried chicken breaded with grains. Very nice athmosphere, I am sure this place can grow in to something very nice, once the guys settle in.
