About Ole Troelsø

I am food- & wine editor at the danish newspaper Børsen, and have always been quite fond of good food & wine.
I baked my first cake at age 5.
First bread at 7.
Manufactured croque monsieur toasts for sale to my starving boarding school pals at 11.
Became a dishwasher and kitchen hand at 14.
Left school at 16 to become a cooks apprentice.
Cooked for 5 years.
Did a lot of different things, until I went back to school to study journalism for 4 years.
Started writing for newspaper Børsen in 1997.
Became restaurant and wine critic in 2001.
Been eating and drinking non-stop since then, having reviewed app. 900 restaurants as of today.
